Monrovia, Liberia – November 3, 2023 — In a momentous stride toward a healthier future, Liberia officially launched the Liberia One Health Platform’s website on Friday, November 3, 2023, coinciding with the global observance of World One Health Day. This pioneering initiative marks a significant milestone in the nation’s commitment to information sharing across sectors, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among healthcare sectors, promoting animal and environmental health, and ensuring the well-being of its citizens.

The Liberia One Health Platform’s website serves as a dynamic virtual hub, providing accessible and up-to-date information about the One Health initiatives undertaken by Liberia. On this auspicious day, the website was unveiled, aimed at raising awareness, enhancing education, and encouraging collaborative efforts among researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and the public.

The Liberia One Health Platform website [www.onehealthliberia.org] funded by EchoHealth Alliance, a US-based non-governmental organization working in Liberia, working to protect humans, animals, and the environment from emerging infectious diseases. The website was developed by CYGEC IT SOLUTIONS, INC., a local information technology firm.
