Public Health Travel Advisory N0.01

The National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL) and the Ministry of Health (MoH) have issued a Public Health Travel Advisory as part of ongoing Ebola virus disease (EVD) preparedness measures to strengthen national surveillance and reduce the risk of cross-border disease transmission. The advisory provides guidance for all incoming and outgoing travelers to ensure early detection, timely reporting, and compliance with established public health protocols at all points of entry.

All travelers are encouraged to cooperate fully with Port Health officials, adhere to screening procedures, and report any signs of illness during or after travel. These measures are preventive and aimed at safeguarding the health and safety of the population.

The public is advised to remain calm, follow official updates, and rely only on verified information from NPHIL and the Ministry of Health.
